    I would be inclined to agree, though I did a reverse DNS lookup on one of the IPs and it belonged to Baidu.

    Robots.txt didn't work for some reason.

    I configured apache to send look out for the Baidu Bot and serve him up an access denied page instead. Seem to have done the trick so far.
