UK1 Securities are up and running.

We are a Private Military Company, specialising in Bounty Hunting, Armed Transportation and Security Services to individuals and other orgs.

This post will be kept up to date with details of the company, as things progress in the SC universe.

So far we have 14 members with these ships.

Current state of the game: Hangar Module with Arena Commander in-fiction dogfight simulator are at release 1.01, which includes Free Flight, Squadron Battle, Battle Royale, Vanduul Swarm and co-op VS dogfight modes, using the Aurora (all variants), 300 series (all variants, M50, Mustang (all variants), F7 Hornet (all variants), Cutlass and Avenger. The ability to race around the Murray Cup racetrack is also now in the game.

The planetside , FPS combat and single player campaign (Squadron 42) modules are in production, with each likely to be playable (in alpha state), expected Spring-time this year.

    Sweeeeet.

Been reading up on this game and the amount of depth is just mind boggling, its unreal and that's just their ideas so far and what they are willing to tell us.

I know it's prob a year till full launch, but do we want discussions on what our Org does/doesn't do? Apart from the official blurb I mean. I fancy starting a mining/manufacturing operation to trickle funds into the Clan for instance. Also, as a PMC are we required to commit atrocities then cover them up?

Yeah, I think anything bar full-on piracy is fair game. Mining and stuff is fine, cos we'll be able to securely transport the ores :)

edit: this is from our Charter "This UK1 organisation is orientated towards Security work and Bounty Hunting, which obviously means that we are against piratical activities. If you fancy being a pirate and still want to be part of the clan, that is fine. However we will set up a pirate UK1 organisation for you to conduct your nefarious activities from."

Think our reputation as an escorting force would be undermined by doing that. Reputation is everything.

We need to be a little careful about having any affiliation between a pirate organisation and UK1 Securities, otherwise we're in danger of looking like a protection racket.

Half of our guys out creating a need for security through piracy, the other half providing the solution through security.

Sure, it's a classic gangster business model, but it's not really something I'd want to encourage.

Good point Dave, I'll tweak the Charter later on...

I actually think a protection racket would be good fun to role play :) Call the pirate arm "KU1" and nobody will notice
