    For better weapons try and find hi tech systems. Turreted weapons are a liability in my opinion as you have no control so can expect then to hit security ships a lot. Stick to fixed or gimbaled weapons.

    Turreted are actually very good but you have to change a setting in the functions menu! You can change from firing on any hostile ship to just firing on the targeted ship - that stops them hitting security ships!!!

    Aulin has gimballed beam lasers but they are 500k each!!!!!! Need another 700k to afford them!!

    When carrying stolen cargo and entering a station turn off all non essential modules to make the silent running mode last longer... then cane it into the letterbox..

    Interdiction's..... you are better off submitting to it all the more so if it is an NPC. As soon as you get interdicted press the x key to kill the engines.
    This way you drop out of frame shift/super-cruise with zero system and hull damage. The FSD will immediately start to cool down and you can set all power to thrusters and boost away. The enemy will only have a chance to fire a couple of shots by which time the FSD will be charging up again and you can be on your way once again.

    The only exception's to this are if you are in the Type 7 or the Type 9 the latter is a nightmare and you will lose your shield and take damage before the FSD has recharged.

    Nice, Blazing. Used this and it works. In an Adder you can escape quick enough to take no damage.

    Another Tip:

    When landing and wanting to go to Outfitting DON'T click Outfitting and sit through a massive animation, instead click "Enter Hangar", then "Station Services" then "Outfitting".

    This means you don't sit through the tedious animation.
